 HIRING TECHNICIAN FOR GENERAL MAINTENANCE FOR QATAR

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Inspecting facilities, equipment to identify any issues

2. Repairing faulty equipment units and minor damaged structures

3. Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality

4. Planning and scheduling repairs

5. Performing general maintenance tasks

7. Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies.

8. Developing and implementing preventative maintenance

9. Inspect equipment such as air conditioners from time to time for proper cleaning, speed and temperature.

10. Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or faucet repair.

11. Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.

12. Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair.

13. Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace door closer etc.)

14. Request supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

15. Performs other related duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as Warehouse general maintenance.

2. Excellent ability to communicate system problems to both co-workers and management for proper understanding

3. Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building

4. Have good knowledge of troubleshooting techniques in order to determine exact problems and tackle them accordingly

5. Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the facilities

6. Have good knowledge of electricity, carpentry and plumbing among other technical skills

7. Good written and spoken English, problem solving skills, technical communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Must know how to operate and possess a manlift rider certificate.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Graduate or Diploma for a recognized university / board.

Note: All the originals of qualification certificates shall be attested from country of origin by their respective board of education and Ministry of Foreign affairs to verify qualifications and credentials.
