 Hiring Technical Superintendent for UAE Vessels management and technical operations 

Responsible for the overall management and technical operations of our vessels allotted by Technical Manager.

              This includes overseeing the daily operations of maintenance and repair, budgeting, survey schedules, onboard general assessment of vessels, inspections, and docking, etc.

2.            Ensure and review the implementation of Planned Maintenance System (PMS) on the vessel.

3.            Ensure the assigned vessels are technically operational according to the management agreement and client requirement.

4.            Work closely with the Operations Superintendents and provide technical advice to the HSE and Operations Departments.

5.            Attend to vessel dry docking, repairs and survey when required and determine repair specifications for dry docking and maintenance.

6.            Provide and compile documented reports upon completion of dry docking, including summaries of works performed, operational budgets, and actual expenditures.

7.            Perform evaluation for dry-docking, repair quotes and selection of shipyards for repair works, ship maintenance.

8.            Identify and source for technical supplies required for the vessels and ensure the rates are most economical.

9.            Provide technical assistance and advice to ships both at home port and overseas.

10.         Perform monthly review of logs processes and attend to vessel inspections

11.         Monitor technical status of vessel with relation to class cert and survey

12.         Supervise contractors’ repair/maintenance of vessels

13.         Perform budgeting and cost control measures on ship spares and docking requirements

14.         Perform technical compliance audits and investigation on defects/failures on a regular scheduled basis to ensure conformance

15.         Work closely with the HSE Management team to ensure smooth and successful implementation of QHSE system and policies for the Division.

16.         Perform systematic review of recommended codes, guidelines and standards and ensure compliance with Quality & Safety Management standards.

17.         Evaluate & Prepare Chief Engineer Appraisal report.

18.         Carry out briefing / de briefing for Chief Engineer during joining & After Signing off from vessel.

19.         Undertake Technical related assignments as advised by Technical Manager.

20.         Work experience- Mechanical/Marine Engineering with sailing experience as Chief Engineer. Need Class I COC Unlimited certification.
