HIRING Material Engineer FOR SAUDI ARABIA
Description
The Material Engineer is responsible to analyze materials and data, conducting tests, troubleshooting,
monitoring performance, ensuring quality control and creating documentation. Responsible for
developing new methods of testing, training technicians and lab workers, maintaining inventories and
ordering supplies. Engineers must also stay up to date on industry standards, government regulations and
new developments in their field.
Responsibilities
• Participate in the lab management and coordinating the activities.
• Responsible for Lab quality control including equipment control, calibrations and maintaining.
• Marketing clients, field and laboratory testing, scheduling technician, review and signing field
reports.
• Participate in cross functional teams to improve laboratory testing processes and plans.
• Lead and coordinate test plan activities with lab personnel and coordinate equipment resources with
lab management.
• Reviewing the tests reports
Competence
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or related field with major course work in Civil, or
Materials Engineering
• Have at least (3) years of experience related to civil materials testing
• Excellent knowledge in ASTM / BS / AASTHO standards
• Valid competency certificates (ACI/ANSI/ASNT/AWS/CWI) will be preferable
• Experience certifications in asphalt pavement, concrete soils and aggregate testing.
• Excellent presentation skills with advanced oral and written communications skills
• Fluent English both written and spoken.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent team player, coordination and planning skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Driving License
