Brief Role Description:
Performs various materials functions related to but not restricted to the material operation of providing,
receiving, storing, and maintaining all plant materials required, and all other required logistics for projects
and T&I. Identifies materials by their type and store according to their category and provides correct and
secure storage. Works within a facility materials entity in any of the material handling functions. The
incumbent needs to be fully conversant with all the various Saudi Aramco Forms/Systems related to
processing materials, and logistics.
Minimum Requirements (e.g. previous experiences and specific skill requirement
in addition to any Education requirement)
Minimum of five years’ experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, or infrastructure
industries, and has material coordination experience on large projects and T&I’s. Provides
technical support as required and assists in the preparation of the material procurement plan.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Expected responsibilities and % of time spent on
each one
1. Provide detailed overall cost estimation for T&I in terms of Logistics.
2. Checks material which may be restricted by internal controls.
3. Process all LDOR/MLDOR request and updates AMMS records as necessary.
4. Prepares SA8313 discrepancy reports as necessary and prepares materials for return to
MRO.
5. Ensure efficient and seamless flow of information and communication within the team,
and appointed contractors to ensure smooth execution of logistical arrangement.
6. Ensure house procedures and regulatory requirements are in accordance with health,
Safety, Security and Environment policies.
7. Identifying rest shelter location and laydown areas with getting approval from operation
Saudi Aramco:- Company General Use
and process safety.
8. Coordinate with all concerned planners, Operations, engineers, contractors and
technician on logistic requirement inputs and consolidating for T&I.
9. Responsible for setting up all temporary facilities like rest shelter, water points, hand
wash basins, air coolers, tables and chairs.
10. Arrange the required bus and other transportation service requirement.
11. Support fire department to setup fire assembly points, firefighting equipment, alarms,
safety showers and Eye wash.
12. Prepare and communicate logistic plan efficiently and effectively with all the concern
departments including contractors.
13. Provide loading & unloading support onsite.
14. Mobilization / Demobilization of temporary facilities, housekeeping of work site
15. Handover of T&I laydown areas and shelter areas.
16. Perform any other logistic requirement as required.
