Brief Role Description:

Performs various field checks functions related to but not restricted to the construction, implementation of

all plant projects and T&I

Ensures correct implementation of the project/T&I construction specifications and standards in

compliance with Saudi Aramco guidelines.


Minimum Requirements (e.g. previous experiences and specific skill requirement

in addition to any Education requirement)

Minimum of seven years’ experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or

infrastructure industries, and has construction supervision experience on large to mega

project/T&I. Ensures correct implementation of the project/T&I construction specifications and

standards. Plans, coordinates and directs the construction work and construction subcontractor to

meet all construction milestones dates. Implements the construction plans to ensure the

efficiency, quality, safety and performance of construction to meet project objectives. Must have

thorough knowledge of construction practices, economic principles, international codes and

standards, procedures and specifications.


Duties and Responsibilities: Expected responsibilities and % of time spent on

each one

1. Review and understand the scope of work of the T&I (should meet with the

engineer/planner to discuss & fully understand of SOW).

2. Ensure below items are available as part of the package:

a. Approved scope of work document including the material list, drawings etc.

b. Engineering procedures as required.

c. Scaffolding plans as required.

d. Review/confirm material availability.

3. Notify Planning Engineer/Planner of any missing documents or materials.

4. Conduct execution kick-off meeting before starting any job with all concern in order to

explain plan, schedule and scope of the job.

5. Receive released/delivered materials for all assigned T&I. Confirm the e-GR Posting / e-

MDD workflow for the received materials.

6. Ensure all field required documents are obtain prior starting the work such as JSA,

Excavation plan/design/check list etc. and ensure all risks and hazards mentioned in

these documents are clearly understood by field crews.

7. Making frequent yard visits and ensuring proper housekeeping and maintenance of the

yard.

8. Conduct weekly progress review meeting with contractor to monitor and evaluate

progress of all on-going T&I as well as to decide the look-ahead plan for the coming

week.

9. Coordinate with operations, inspection, planning and engineering to resolve any issues

related to T&I execution.

10. Follow up with contractor for implementation of weekly review meeting action items.

11. Guide, prioritize and schedule the execution of contracts under his control & inform

proponent for job start up.

12. Conduct field visit to check job progress, quantify completed work & safety compliance.

13. Review and approve contractor invoice partial/full payment.

14. Inspect and ensure that work is executed as relevant Saudi Armco standards.

15. Monitor and maintain daily progress report of all assigned jobs.

16. Issues materials and equipment gate pass, Clear material at security gates, Prepare and

follow up on contractor temporary access.

17. As applicable, coordinate for MCC final walkthrough, follow-up for routing and

approval of MCC & PAC.

18. Prepare and route contract completion certificate.

19. Prepare list of all excess materials and hand over to the respective planner for further

actions.

20. After completion of T&I work and settlement of contractors’ dues communicate with

respective planner for project closure.

21. Prepare contractor performance appraisal.

22. Submit signed cancel & supersede request to T&I Supervisor for any field change or

additional services required. Ensure that additional required field work not commenced

before approved contract.

23. Review and approve contractor time sheets.

24. Prepare the weekly schedule for all activities that requires operation and inspection

coverage.

25. Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained at both job site and contractor yard.

26. Enforce the contractor to conduct daily tool box talk and weekly safety awareness

28. Ensure all contractor personnel working for assigned T&I are certified as per Saudi

Aramco requirement.
