Brief Role Description:

 Plan, Monitor and control project progress according the define measurement criteria and work

breakdown structure.

 Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of project planning and control

procedures.

 Produce reports consisting of progress curves illustrating the current developments, describing

the outcomes and forecasting future tasks.

 Coordinate with planning and scheduling functions of Global Manufacturing Support & Assurance

 Through exchange of critical project information on regular basis.


Minimum Requirements (e.g. previous experiences and specific skill requirement

in addition to any Education requirement)

Education: Certified in CMPS (Certificate in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling)

Experience: Minimum of seven years Maintenance Planning experience including at least three years

devoted to Turnarounds. Identifies all materials, tools, equipment, and special preparations required for

each job step. Retain a good knowledge of Saudi Aramco Materials System on SAP, including use of the

SAMS Catalog, requisitioning of SAMS stock items and Direct Charge materials “9COMs". Knowledge of

SAP is must.

Duties and Responsibilities: Expected responsibilities and % of time spent on

each one


1. Identifies all materials, tools, equipment, and special preparations required for each job

step. Retain a good knowledge of Saudi Aramco Materials System on SAP, including

use of the SAMS Catalog, requisitioning of SAMS stock items and Direct Charge

materials “9COMs".

2. Prepares regular and special analyses of manpower and backlog data for the

superintendent and recommends allocation of manpower resources to maintain the

highest possible activity level in the Division while meeting Maintenance Goals.

3. Reviews the Whole Job Standards (WJSs) for completeness, accuracy and applicability

to Division's needs. Revises those WJSs which needs changes, and maintains an index

of WJSs for the Division.

4. Experts in the proper application of the Aramco Maintenance Work Control System and

applicable Computerized Maintenance System data files. Conducts periodic refresher

training for all personnel with the use of these systems, and for all Trainees who have

been assigned to maintenance planning.

5. Keeps current with latest systems developments and to provide the Division's input to

the corporate policy-making process. Recommends corrective actions based on the

indicators and coordinates productivity studies within the Division.

6. Develop major T&Is plan. Recommends contracting action for supplementary manpower

as deemed necessary.

7. Dash Board (PMDB) Reports for performance or tracking analysis.
