HIRING MATERIAL COORDINATOR (OFFSHORE) FOR QATAR
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Ordering materials according to the well program. Order the materials in 2 weeks advance minimum. Check the materials onboard the rig according to the materials order list created as per well program.
2. Coordinate with the Onshore Material Coordinator from drilling department for the materials required not available at rig by providing the materials order list in excel created, with SAP number of items. Follow up with the onshore coordinator regarding the materials order list what they got. In case, there are missing, not available at warehouse and vendor, please immediately notify the Qatar Energy representative (drilling supervisor) to discuss and sort out with the assistance of onshore drilling engr. and again the onshore material coordinator.
3. Monitor the vessels activity in the port and in the field. Check the vessel time of departure from port and what ETA at rig.
4. Check the materials once arrived at rig including vendor materials and inform the 3rd party engr. or crew involve in the job to check their materials and equipment as well and remind to notify Qatar Energy offshore material coordinator and drilling supervisor of any items missing and not receive so again will be discuss and sorted out until all materials ready for the job.
5. Offshore Material coordinator also responsible for chopper booking for all personnel movement especially from offshore to town and update the POB in the Dawinci system.
6. Coordinate with Logistic and arrange supply vessel for back load all additional materials and bulks prior to rig move.
7. Maintain materials inventory files.
8. Follow the safety Qatar Energy rules and regulation at rig all the time
9. Follow up with completion supervisor and order completion materials asper drilling program.
10. Coordinate with mud engineer and cementer for chemicals mobilization.
11. Control Rig Min / Max stock level as per consumption & maintaining documents for the same.
12. Arrange and do all the chopper bookings in Dawinci for outgoing and incoming rig crews including infield choppers.
13. Updates in Dawinci the daily rig room assignments and uploading new and missing certificates required for chopper boarding.
14. Coordinates with PS1 & JOC for any infield transfers by boat for both personnel & equipment. Including urgent requirements.
15. Maintains and updates all inventories on daily and weekly basis; Qatar Energy Stocks (consumables, Bits, Cross Overs, Pipes, Fittings, etc.) This includes inventory of all personal computers, laptops, printers and telephones we have on board which are owned by Qatar Energy.
16. Monitor all 3rd party stocks and equipment including daily rentals. Making sure we are not keeping any unnecessary rental equipment on board.
17. Coordinates & follow-up with Logistics and Office coordinators with regards to rig orders and requests for load outs and vessel routings. Making sure all required materials will arrive on time for the job.
18. Monitoring of wastes skips making sure order is in place on time whenever it’s nearly full. (Metallic, Domestic & Hazardous Skips).
19. Receive and check all delivery cargoes from the boat making sure all are delivered as per the load out lists description and quantities. This includes all contractor materials & equipment’s.
20. Assist the construction team in receiving and keeping their equipment on the rig which they require for their scopes.
21. Filing of all delivery manifests, certificates & reports
22. Prepares all backload manifests and provide backload reports to JOC and logistics every after completion of the boat with proper timing of arrival and departure, backload weights per lift, descriptions, etc.
23. Make sure all equipment on board are up to date with color codes & certificates and sending all to town whatever needs color coding and recertification.
24. Give instructions and assist the rig crew with regards to handling of all deliveries and backloads to and from the boat making sure there are no mistakes.
25. Monitoring of all office supplies like copy paper, printer cartridges, pens, gloves, etc. Making sure we will not run out of stocks.
26. Maintain proper arrangement of stocks on the rig, keeping it neat and easy to check.
27. Coordinating with Company man to demobilize service personnel to avoid unnecessary day rate payments.
28. Coordinates with supply vessel captain / JOC / Logistics for smooth timings of delivery.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in handling material for major oil companies offshore. Required to work at offshore locations. Valid rigging and slinging certificate.
2. Required to work at offshore locations in rotational basis.
3. H2S, HUET & T-Bosiet valid certificate
4. Experience in supply chain environment required, preferably in oil and gas, of which a minimum of 3 years should be in material handling. Inspection of inward Materials, knowledge to read and interpret material certificates etc.
5. General knowledge of process system, Equipment & Materials used in Refineries and the Oil & Gas Industry. Shall have good practical skills, hands-on experience in Procurement, engineering, construction, maintenance.
6. Well versed knowledge of Spares & consumables used in Oil & Gas industry
7. Good knowledge and experience in SAP MM module with Computer literate and well-versed with Microsoft Office applications.
8. Good written and spoken English, problem solving skills, technical communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Experience in storage and handling of Chemicals of all the classes. Able to interpret MSDS and define storage & handling requirement. Well versed knowledge / understanding UN / NFPA / GHS Classification.
10. Capability to understand and follow international safety standard followed in Oil & Gas industry. IOSH certificate Managing Safely or equivalent and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health - COSHH training certificates are mandatorily required prior to start working with QatarEnergy.
11. Familiar with usage of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
12. Knowledge and experience in Material Preservation standards followed in Oil & Gas industry.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Graduate in Engineering or higher in disciplines of Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation or equivalent from a recognized university / board.
Note: All the originals of qualification certificates shall be attested from country of origin by their respective board of education and Ministry of Foreign affairs to verify qualifications and credentials.
