HIRING Laboratory Manager FOR SAUDI ARABIA
Description
A Lab Manager is responsible for coordinating or managing the activities of a materials laboratory (testing
includes materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt). This includes ensuring that the
laboratory testing services are conducted in a safe manner and consistent with company quality protocols,
project requirements, and in a timely manner. Oversee and coordinate the training and utilization of
laboratory staff. Oversee and coordinate the maintenance and cleanliness of the laboratory and testing
equipment.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for overall management of the lab and coordinating the activities.
• Responsible for Lab quality control including equipment control, calibrations and maintaining.
• Planning, growth, profitability, cost control, employee development, and quality control.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with various clients including business
development
• Marketing clients, field and laboratory testing, scheduling technician and engineering personnel,
review and signing field reports.
Competence
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or related field with major course work in Civil, or
Materials Engineering
• Eight years of engineering experience in materials testing work including Five years of Managerial
position
• Ability to physically perform the duties and to work in the environmental conditions required of a
position in remote areas.
• Fluent English both written and spoken.
• Excellent writing skills
• Knowledge in ASTM, BS, AASHTO standards
• Driving License
