HIRING Laboratory Technician - Civil Material Testing FOR SAUDI ARABIA

 Description

Laboratory technician is responsible to perform testing activities of the construction materials, record

technical data and worksheets, and monitor the environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Handle the job order, and perform testing as per the authorization matrix

• Perform and evaluate the jobsite for Concrete, Soil, Aggregate and Asphalt materials according to

international standards and the authorization matrix

• Use the measuring equipment according to the work instructions

• Record the technical data in the controlled worksheets and relevant forms

• Compliance with environmental health and safety requirements

• Full compliance with test results confidentiality and impartiality.

• Follow up the direct manager instructions in lab

• Monitor the testing performance and evaluate parameters

• Validate the reference materials according to work instructions

Competence

• Graduate of technical diploma of civil materials technology or any equivalent major.

• Have at least (3) years of experience related to civil materials testing.

• Excellent knowledge in ASTM / BS / AASTHO standards

• Valid competency certificates (ACI/ANSI/ASNT/AWS/CWI) will be preferable

• Experience certifications in asphalt pavement, concrete, soils and aggregate testing.

• Fluent English both written and spoken.

• Driving License
